Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the gollog mobile application ("the App") provided by gollog ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
gollog is a personal time-management application that records your day in 10-minute tiles and provides AI-powered insights. The App offers:
- Time-block logging (Plan and Do layers)
- Task management with priority classification
- AI-powered analysis and insights (on-device and cloud)
- HealthKit, Calendar, and Weather integration
- Voice chat with AI assistant
- Day / Week / Month / Year zoom views
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
3. Account Registration
The App does not require account registration. No name, email address, or phone number is collected. A random device identifier (UUID) is generated locally for service operation purposes only.
4. User Content
- All time-block logs, tasks, and personal data you enter are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
- You retain full ownership of all content you create in the App.
- We do not access, collect, or store your personal content on our servers.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data.
5. AI Features
- On-device AI: Analysis runs entirely on your device. No data is transmitted externally.
- Cloud AI (default): When you use the AI chat feature, the current message and an anonymized data summary are sent to OpenAI via our secure proxy server (
api.gollog.app). The proxy does not store message content. See our Privacy Policy for details. - BYOK mode: If you enter your own OpenAI API key, requests are sent directly to OpenAI under your own account and OpenAI's terms.
- AI responses are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. They do not constitute professional medical, financial, or legal advice.
6. Subscriptions and Payments

| Pro (monthly) | 600 AI chat messages per billing cycle. Subscription is managed through Apple's App Store and auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. |
| Chat Pack (one-time) | 300 additional AI chat messages. Non-expiring, consumed only when used. |
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Pricing is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled via your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
- Free trial usage and purchased chat packs are tied to your device and cannot be transferred.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to bypass chat usage limits or manipulate billing mechanisms
- Use the App or AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's proxy servers or backend services
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App's services
8. Intellectual Property
- The App, its design, code, and branding (including the gollog name and logo) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Content you create within the App remains yours.
9. Disclaimers
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional advice (medical, financial, legal, etc.).
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App or its AI features.
- HealthKit data displayed in the App is read from Apple Health and may not be fully accurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy of health data.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
- We may suspend or terminate access to cloud AI features if these Terms are violated.
- Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
